Alison studied History and Art before embarking on a 20-year teaching career.

She now lives on a smallholding near the Eden Project, where she divides her time between watercolour painting, growing organic produce and caring for dogs, chickens, ducks and geese. Alison loves the outdoors, deriving much of her inspiration from the beauty and variety of the Cornish countryside and coastline. These are reflected in the wide range of subjects she chooses to paint.
