100 year old monkey puzzle tree ready
for turning |
Wood is mainly
sourced from storm damaged or fallen trees in Devon and Cornwall.
Wooden bowls are
partly turned as soon as possible after obtaining the tree.
They are then left
to air dry for a period of 2/3 years, before they are re-turned and
finished with Danish Oil. |

From the A30 at
Launceston, take the A388 towards Callington. After about 8 miles,
turn right onto the B3257, signed Bodmin. Higher Manaton entrance is
just a few hundred yards on the left. The farmhouse is situated at
the end of the drive.
