Lynda Jewell began her career in Cornish Pottery in 1977, training under the legendary John Buchanan, Master Craftsman of Anchor Pottery St. Ives.

For the following six years she worked closely with the Master researching all the intricate and complex disciplines within the vast panoramic network of hand-thrown pottery.

In 1983 Lynda started her own pottery based in Redruth. In this pottery of excellence, working with a gas kiln, she conducts experiments in the science of glaze reduction.

Her highly acclaimed works in porcelain are even further enhanced by the dynamic use of 'zingy reds' for which she is renowned.

Lynda is creating unique compositions in Cornish stoneware combining her use of  bright and basic colours using celadon, tenmoku and rutile glazes under reduction for her new exhilarating designs.

Pierrot Pottery is non porous, very resilient, dishwasher, microwave and oven proof.
